Creating Story Streams for the Future
We live in the intersections. The intersections of space and place. The intersection of self and system.
The intersection of public and private. The intersection of me and you…of me and we.
Overlaying this all is the intersection of times - now and then…then and now…here and then.
What wisdom helps you navigate your unique coordinates?
How will you capture your story for those that follow?
I Believe
Our histories lend great clarity to the present and our imaginations hold the keys for the future.
It could be that all the wisdom we ever need and ever seek is already here…and available. And it could be that what our future kin need most is a front row seat to YOUR experience of today.
I spend many of my days as an amateur researcher, librarian, and historian in order to access what I need to know to break the continued cycles of oppression and do my part to bring transformation.
I spend other of my days as an amateur writer, documentarian, and chronicler in order to capture my realest experiences of living in the unknown…in the space between here and then. I hope that my efforts at the very least leave less mystery for my descendants as to who I am, what I believe, the actions I take, and efforts I make.
This site serves as my creative play space to capture part of my story stream…and to stretch my own cpacity to heed the past and dream of the future.
Let’s Work Together
If you are interested in beginning your own chronicling practices (for you, your family, your organization or team) I am available to support your process. I can help you develop a curated library of resources that will illuminate and nuance your particular intersections between space and place; self and system; past, present and future.
I love to curate collections of resources that can help people and groups ground in their deep history and vast potentiality. This could complement team building, family development and learning, personal inquiry or professional development tracks.
I also believe strongly in the power of capturing present day stories and experiences as testimonies for those who come after us. You don’t have to be a prolific writer OR have an extraordinary experience. YOUR story matters - as is, as incomplete, as in process, future unknown. Success stories are great…but our everyday suspense is better. I will help you consider and implement achievable practices that help to develop a stronger sense of self…for you or your crew.
